Integer Operation Interactive Notes Activity
A fun and interactive way to take and learn notes for students! Add a bright card stock color for the first page and notes will not get lost in that crazy folder :) These notes are broken up to help understand the operations of integers with same signs and different signs for multiplication, addition and division along with the "Keep, Change, Change" directions for subtraction. There are different pages for you to decide on how you would like to use them with your students. All students work differently and this resource allows you to customize for your students. There is a first page with vocab words, full page with all notes, fill in the blank notes, completed examples and blank examples. The suggested directions give you a 3 layer notes activity with tips for 2 layers (vocab, notes and examples), but again - you choose how many you would like to use. A great tool to use in your classroom, enjoy!

Adding Integers Puzzle Activity
A self directed activity keeps students engaged and on task! Allowing the teacher to walk around and help students one-on-one. For this puzzle activity, students will practice adding integers ONLY. They will take the 4 x 4 grid and re-arrange the squares to create a new 4 x 4 grid making sure each side matches correctly with the question and answer.

Adding, Subtracting and/or Multiplying "Meet and Greet" Activity
Getting students to move around keeps them attentive in class while learning. It adds to the fun of learning concepts. This activity allows students to "meet and greet" every student in the classroom. There are many ways to set this up, but the most popular one to get everyone involved is the whole class idea. Have each student take a positive or negative number 0-25. They have the recording tracking sheet with them and they take their card number to meet up with another partner. Record their name, student number and partner number and answer. That way at the end they have a list of problems they can reference. Repeat the process, adding music as a start/stop and you have a full class period activity ready right here. Enjoy this great activity to get students moving and to practice adding, subtracting and/or multiplying integers!
--Below are some ideas of how the cards can be utilized:
**Print off the number pages twice and students can practice adding, subtracting and/or multiplying 2+ negatives.
**Have a whole class partner activity, or set it up as small groups, partners or individually.
**If in a whole group scenario, students must fill their tracking sheet up and are not allowed to have any repeat partners.
**Rotate cards around, have a main pile table and have students return them face down, and redraw a new card and find a new partner.
**If students are working individually. They can have two piles set up, face down and they draw the top card to see what two cards they would get for their problem.
**Have students find partners of 3+ and they can practice adding, subtracting and/or multiplying for than two numbers.
**Use music as a start and stop to find partners – adds to the fun, while learning!
**Use these for stations – each station has a few problems and have students rotate between stations.
**Use as a review and every round, practice adding, next subtracting and then multiplying!

Printing these problems off on bright colored paper, laminate them and use them often!

Subtracting Integers "Do-Si-Do" Find & Match Activity
A fun and moving activity! These problems can be used in multiple uses, depending on your students, you can decide how you would like to utilize them. These problems are all only subtracting integers which are broken up into three parts. The original problem, "Keep, Change, Change" problem and the answer. There is an blank answer key where students can write the problems down and use as a reference for practice and notes as well. Enjoy this great activity to get students moving and to practice subtracting integers!
--Here are a few suggestions of how you can utilize these problems:
** Use as a whole class activity - hand out a piece to each student and have them find their partners. Collect the pieces, shuffle and start again.
** Break up into small groups and have students sort out all pieces to find the matches.
** Individually have students work and sort out all 24 problems.
** Use these for stations – each station has a few problems and have students rotate between stations.
** Use music as a start and stop to find partners. That way students are not spending minutes upon minutes trying to find one another. It keeps class running smoothly.
Printing these problems off and having them laminated can be used year after year.

Integer Operation Task Cards (Adding, Subtraction, Multiplying & Dividing)
Ready to practice all 4 operations for integers? Have your students practice with these integer operation task cards! Below you will find suggestions and ideas of how to utilize these great task cards. Task cards are a great tool to use in the classroom. Here are a few ideas of how you can utilize these task cards in your classroom. A good idea is to cut out your task cards and laminate them to use them again and again!
**Place one task card at each desk in classroom and have students rotate every 2 minutes (more or less, depending on topic) and complete the problem. Using a stop watch, song or buzzer.
**Place task card problems onto a board. Each student will go up to the board and grab the one they need, answer the problem and return it to the board when complete. Grab another and complete all task cards until answer key is full. A musical chair type of idea.
**Use a set or part of a set of task cards as a station activity and rotate stations.
**Students work in pairs the same task cards, compare answer and then move onto the next problem.
**Student completes all task cards as a worksheet, packet or review and then turn in the answer key.

Integer (Adding, Subtracting, Multiplying & Dividing) Operation Hole Punch Game
Everyone loves to play a game, right? This is a perfect, easy set up game - all you need is a hole punch! Have students work alone (preferably), pairs or more and complete the 10 problems. When they complete the problems, they have two chances to get the answer correct. Depending on how many chances the student took will determine how many hole punches they get. These games are broken down into an adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing integer sheets and then a combined mixed problem sheet. There are a great variety of problems and they are not too difficult, it gives them practice. A great tool to use as a quick assessment over finding integer operations too!
