# Slope Bundle - Includes Y-Intercept Activities

Looking for a variety of activities to work on slope?! This is the bundle!! Read below of what is all included! 8 resources totally 56 pages of fun activities to get your students engaged and learning about slope, along with a few that practice y-intercept too :) **Descriptions of Each Resource: ****Slope and Y-Intercept (Mixed) Hole Punch Game**

Everyone loves to play a game, right? This is a perfect, easy set up game - all you need is a hole punch! Have students work alone (preferably), pairs or more and complete the 10 problems. When they complete the problems, they have two chances to get the answer correct. Depending on how many chances the student took will determine how many hole punches they get. This game combines finding slope AND y-intercept from a graph, coordinate pair, table & equation. The answers are positive and negative. There is a great variety and they are not too difficult, it gives them practice. A great tool to use as a quick assessment over finding slope and y-intercept or either individually. **Included **

*10 Problem Hole Punch Game Board - (Slope & Y-Intercept, Slope Only and Y-Intercept Only Boards)

*Answer Keys for Slope & Y-Intercept

*Directions to Play Game**Slope and Y-Intercept Interactive Notes Activity**

A fun and interactive way to learn notes for students! Add a bright card stock color for the first page and notes will not get lost in that crazy folder :) These notes are broken up with slope AND y-intercept. Find slope and y-intercept from a table, graph, coordinate pair and equation! There are different pages for you to decide on how you would like to use them with your students. All students work differently and this resource allows you to customize for your students. There is a first page with vocab words, full page with all notes, fill in the blank notes, completed examples and blank examples. Learning slope is one of the bigger concepts to take away in middle school. This activity allows students to practice graphing a line segment using slope. The best part of this activity is that students will get practice creating negative, positive, undefined and zero slopes. They start with a point and use slope to create a line segment to connect to another point. The problems are set up so that students will practice going other directions utilizing slope. A very interactive activity that will help students practice graphing slope. **Included **

*15 Problem Student Worksheet

*Student Graph Worksheet

*Suggested Directions

*Completed Teacher Answer Key. **Slope Intercept Form - Graphing Linear Equations **

Learning slope is one of the bigger concepts to take away in middle school. This activity allows students to practice identifying slope and y-intercept from slope intercept form. Then they will graph the linear equation using slope intercept form. Graphs include positive, negative, zero and undefined slopes. A fun add is to solve the secret word at the end. **Included **

*12 Problem Student Worksheet (Can be printed on two pages, back to back) with secret blank word scramble.

*Completed Teacher Answer Keys. **Finding Slope of Two Ordered Pairs Color By Number Activity **

Learning slope is one of the bigger concepts to take away in middle school. This activity allows students to practice finding slope from two ordered pairs. The activity could be set up in two ways - just work on the worksheet portion or add in the color by number part as well! **Included **

*20 Problem Student Worksheet

*Blank Color Page

*Completed Teacher Answer Keys. **Finding Slope from a Graph Color By Number Activity **

Learning slope is one of the bigger concepts to take away in middle school. This activity allows students to practice finding slope from a graph; including positive, negative, undefined and zero slopes. The activity could be set up in two ways - just work on the worksheet portion or add in the color by number part as well! **Included**

*Blank Color Page

*Completed Teacher Answer Keys. **Similar Triangles Using Slope Matching Partner Activity **

Looking for a self directed student activity? This is a perfect activity for students to break up in pairs and work through 12 problems together. Students will each have a set of 12 problems, they will graph the line with a set of coordinate points. When complete with all problems, students answers should match. They will then recognize that similar triangles have the same slope.**Included **

*12 Problem Student Worksheets

*Completed Teacher Answer Keys**Finding Slope from a Table Riddle Activity **

Who doesn't like to solve a little riddle? This activity allows students to practice finding slope from a table along with a BONUS of finding the y-intercept as well. When they are finished, they will use their slope to answer the riddle, "Why is the letter 'A' like noon?" The activity can be broken down into numerous ways; practicing only slope, only y-intercept, both and then your choice on when they solve the riddle. **Included **

*16 Problem Student Worksheets

*Blank Riddle Portion
